THE SHEPHERDS REST
​ $180.00 - $185.00 per night, maximum 2 adults.
Self-catering - no meals provided.
Maximum capacity 2 adults. Sorry the hut is not suitable for children.
Please note there is NO WIFI with hut accommodation - technology detox time!!
Alpaca/sheep food provided.
​Non-smoking/vaping. No pets.
*4pm FARM TOUR/ANIMAL FEEDING for an extra fee - $40 per person for guests staying in The Shepherds Rest. Please enquire at time of booking as the farm tour is not always available. 

ARDGOWAN ROOM 
$200.00 per night - maximum 2 adults.
Hosted accommodation within our family home.
Includes Continental Breakfast and 4pm Farm Tour.
King size bed, separate bathroom & toilet.
Non-smoking/vaping.
Airedale Room - $185.00 per night - 2 single beds, used in conjunction with the Ardgowan Room. Shares the same bathroom as the Ardgowan Room. This is a suitable option for families of 4/friend groups travelling together.

BASIC FARM TOUR
Suitable for 2 - 6 people.
If you are just passing through, the Farm Tour gives you chance to meet and feed the animals, as well as learn about how we farm. Allow approximately 1 1/2 hours.
Bookings at least 5 days in advance are essential - we don't accept last minute bookings due to work commitments.
Price: $50 per person 15 years & older.
           $30 per person under 14 years.
Note this tour involves walking on rough terrain and sometimes up/down hills - participants need to have reasonable fitness. Not suitable for prams, mobility frames or wheelchairs. 
No Farm Tours are available in August, September & October.

GROUP TOURS
We offer a Farm Tour with either Morning or Afternoon Tea to smaller group tours.
There is also the option of including a sheep shearing demonstration for an additional fee, however this is seasonal. 
Minimum 8 pax - Maximum 15 pax. 
Price: $70 per person 15 years and older.
           $50 per person under 14 years.

Advance bookings are required.
​No Groups Tours are available in August, September & October.

Cancellation Policy

10% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit paid at time of booking.
Full payment required 7 days prior to arrival.
*If cancelling due to Covid Lockdown Levels  then a full refund will be given.
​For all other cancellations:-
*Full refund (less non-refundable deposit) if cancelled up to 7 days prior to arrival date.
* If cancellation made within 3 days of arrival date then a loss of 50% of the total booking price. Cancellation after this incurs a charge of 100% of full rate.
​*In the event I can rebook the room then a full refund will be given - minus administration fee.
We recommend that you have travel insurance.

Arrival Times

Check In for Gumtree Farmstay is between 3pm - 6pm.
Check In for The Shepherds Rest is between 3pm - 7pm.
Check Out for both  - 10am.
If you intend arriving late we would appreciate knowing this in advance.
