The Ardgowan Room at Gumtree Farmstay is hosted accommodation within our family home.
The bedroom has a comfy king size bed with separate bathroom and toilet. The bathroom facilities are not shared with our family during your stay.
A stay in the Ardgowan Room includes a daily Continental Breakfast and a 4pm Farm Tour.
The farm tour is a walking tour of approximately one hour where I will talk about how and what we farm on our 300 acre property, as well as time to meet and feed our pet alpaca, sheep, kune kune pigs and chickens.
Please note the Farm Tour is only available at 4pm. If you do not arrive by this time then it will not be available at any other time as my mornings are busy working on the farm.
The Ardgowan Room has a maximum capacity of 2 adults.
At certain times of the year we can open an extra bedroom in our house (with 2 single beds) for families who wish to stay at Gumtree Farmstay.

Note that neither the Ardgowan or Airedale Rooms are available from August to early November as we are busy rearing calves.
The property is STRICTLY NON-SMOKING/VAPING.
Kitchen facilities are NOT available. Oamaru is a short drive from our farm and offers some pretty amazing restaurants.
